numbers and virginia's trip

I am blogging about two things today. Viriginia and my weight loss. Virginia came down last weekend and we ended up going skiing at Deer Valley. She has been skiing a total of 12 times but did awesome. She did fall once...on her back...head first down the mountain...but that is ok. We laughed and had an awesome time. After skiing we hit the outlets. Overall it was a great trip. Since DeMitt left me, I have always cried when I leave her...this is the first time I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I was sad....but no tears... hopefully this is a sign I'm getting better.

This is me just before we went skiing. 30 lbs lighter. Actually 29.7 lbs lighter. I missed 30lbs by .3 lbs. I feel great and I love seeing my strength at the gym. I am doing things I have never done before.

Here is the scale picture. I have others, but I feel good about his. I was so hoping for 30 lbs...but it is ok. I will get there. My journey is long from over.

Draxlers Visit!!!

Chandra and the kids decided to come down for Presidents Day!!! I was so happy to see them. We went snow shoeing, and sledding (which I didn't take any pictures) But it was so fun. Chandra and I had fun teaching the kids how to do a train and we went down ourselves. It is fun acting like a kid again.

After skating mom took Justus to the bounce houses, Alexandra was with chandra and Sam, kendall and I went to play laser tag. It was awesome. We were the only ones playing the game. I loved every minute of it!! (no pics of laser tag)

After laser tag the older kids went into this cage type contraption and they shot balls at each other. The best way I can describe it...is like american gladiators when the gladiators are trying to shoot you and you try to hit a target. It was fun watching the kids work together.

Texas!!!!

Just after my birthday I was able to to go and visit my Tyson, Jaquline and Cannon. I had such a great time. I love love love Cannon. He is one of the freaking cutest kids I know. Everytime you say, " I love you cannon," he responds with, "Love you too!" Very polite and overall a happy kiddo. I have some other cute pics i will have to post...but they are on my phone. So they will be coming.

We were at Bath and Body works....this is where i bought the duck. It was in the bag. He always has to be carrying it in a bag.

Of course I had to bring a craft. So here are balloon animals. He called his...bird. He had to take it everywhere...which of course I loved!

Skiing and a wreck

Over the christmas break, my friend Pete and I decided to go skiing/snowboarding. We both didn't have a lot of money, so we decided to go night skiing at Poweder mountain (15.00 bucks). Well, he only made it down twice before he realized he didn't have the right equipment or something so I spent the majority of the time skiing by myself. Which was ok. It was pretty and I loved it. The only thing that sucked, was that we got in car wreck on the way home. It could have been a lot worse, but we thanks to my driving skills we only hit a snow bank twice instead of a couple of pedestrians and some cars. Needless to say the trip turned out to be a more expensive than anticipated.
